This is a full day bird safari starting from Port Douglas that covers more than 90 species. Renowned for expert guidance locating many species of birds in this rich birding area of Australia. For keen dedicated birders seven habitats are featured in this tour. Some of the regular sightings in this bird safari include Black Necked Stork, Galah, Kori Bustard, Pale Headed Rosella, Fig Parrot, Tawny Frogmouth, Scarlet Honeyeater, Blue Winged Kookaburra, Victoria’s Rifle Bird, Red Backed Fairy Wren, Great Bower Bird, Squatter Pigeon, and Osprey, butterflies as well as occasional marsupials. The Wet Tropic lowlands give way to Rainforest on the Great Divide then we head west into the dry Savannah country at the edge of the Outback. BBQ lunch and refreshments are included. Small group numbers are assured and you will see a lot of birds in their different habitats. (min 2, max 6 people)

Pickup or Departure Point Details: This tour starts from Port Douglas. Cairns and Beaches return hotel transfers can be arranged separately - to take you to and from Port Douglas.
