If you have no prior scuba diving experience and you want to learn how to scuba dive in a first class training establishment, then this is the course for you. Two days of training at the PADI 5 star rated dive centre and 3 days and 2 nights practical experience including up to 9 dives at the Great Barrier Reef on board one of three multi-million dollar dive boats, purpose built for outer reef diving, make this Cairns’ Premier Learn to Dive Course
Courses Commence:
Start and finish times: Starts at 9am on day 1 and 2, and 7am on day 3. Return time on day 1, 2 and 5 is approximately 4.30pm.
How to book: You can book online via the rates table's "Book Now" button. Click on it and follow the prompts. Or, call to book on 1800 681 685 (free call) from within Australia. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable on the first day of the course. Once receive your booking request and deposit and have confirmed the availability, your booking confirmation will be emailed to you shortly after (between 8am-6pm). We don't suggest waiting till you get here to book this dive course as you may not be able to enrol at short notice. Government reef tax, fuel levy & port charges of $60 per person are included in the prices in the rates table below.
Pre-requisites:
Pre-requisite for this course is the ability to swim at least 200 metres unaided and to be able to tread water for ten minutes. This is tested in the training pool before going to sea. You will also require a current Dive Medical. A Dive Medical can be arranged for you, on the first day of the course for $55.00.
What to take with you: * Swimmers * Towel (each day) * Lunch/Money on days 1 & 2 * Money for soft drinks/snacks etc for days 3 - 5.
More Information:
The course consists of 2 days of pool and classroom training followed by a 3 day 2 night liveaboard trip where you will get up to 9 dives on a variety of spectacular outer reef locations. These dives consist of a combination of training and recreational dives. The key point of difference with this course is the quality of service and delivery of the course. Quality training facilities and the many inclusions has made many happy customers come back again and again to Cairns as this is where their love of scuba diving began.

Cairns: 7.00am
Cairns beaches: 6.30am
Return times:
Cairns beaches: 5.00pm
Cairns: 4.30pm
Pickup or Departure Point Details:
This tour includes a hotel pick up and drop off from your Cairns or Cairns beaches accommodation.
Optional Extras:
Digital Underwater Camera's are available for hire at a cost of A$99 for 3 days hire including the memory card - must be pre-booked.
Important Information
Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. Some of the more common conditions are Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy and heart or lung conditions. Pregnancy is also a contraindication to diving. Some other medical conditions may also be a problem. If you are unsure about any specific condition please contact us.
The minimum age to participate in this course is 12. There is no maximum age. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or adult over the age of 18 years.
A Dive Medical can be arranged for you, on the first day of the course or you can do it yourself at the Cairns 24 Hour medical Centre (corner of Grafton and Florence Streets, Cairns)
Flying After Diving: We recommend that you do not fly for at least 24 hours after diving. This means that the earliest you should fly is 12 pm (midday) on the day after your dive course ends.
