The tours and accommodation is suitable for people of all ages and apart from the reef cruise which is walking distance from your hotel, you will be picked up and dropped off each and every day to your hotel, making it very convenient.

More Information: The tours may be taken in any order you like and don’t need to be pre booked too far in advance. You have the option to have extra nights, less nights, extra tours, less tours with this very flexible package and there is no minimum number of people required. You can also ask to have just the tour package on it’s own, or ask us to book a different three, four or five star hotel instead of the one mentioned here. Please note however that we have negotiated a special deal including many free upgrades not available free with other hotels.

Inclusions and highlights:

5 nights Cairns accommodation at a 3.5 star hotel called Discovery Cairns Hotel.

Day 1: Airport Pick up and drop off to your hotel.

Day 2: Great Barrier Reef Pontoon tour (10am - 5.30pm) (Meals: MT, L, AT) (10am - 5pm) - stroll down to the marina for your cruise to the outer edge of the reef where the floating platform/ pontoon awaits you. From there you’ll have the option to go snorkelling, or see the reef through a semi submarine coral viewing tour, or glass bottom boat, or underwater observatory or all of the above. Includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. There is also the option to try (at extra cost) a scenic helicopter ride above the reef, scuba diving or “Seawalker” to enhance your day out at the reef. (Includes: Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea)

Day 3: Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail (9am to 4.30pm) - including Cairns pick up and all transport. This tour takes you on one of Australia’s most scenic, famous and historical train journeys from Cairns to Kuranda - the village in the rainforest. You’ll also experience the world’s longest gondola journey (7.5km) from Kuranda down to Cairns. Enroute in both directions you will see the famous Barron Falls and take in some amazing panoramic views from the rainforest to the sea. (Includes: no meals)

Day 4: Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation Discovery Tour (Meals: MT, L,) (7.30am - 6pm) including an informative guide, morning and lunch, visiting Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge, the rainforest aerial walkway and canopy tower, Daintree rainforest and Cape Tribulation Beach and also taking in a one hour wildlife cruise on the Daintree River. (Includes: Morning tea, lunch)

Day 5: Cairns Highlands Discovery Tour (Meals: MT, L, AT) (8am - 5pm) including an informative guide, morning tea and lunch made from some of the finest local produce, visiting and cruising on the Volcanic crater Lake Barrine, short walks to 1000 year old Kauri Pine Trees, the Curtain Fig Tree, three rainforest waterfalls, a gorgeous castle ruin encounter at a mystical place called Paronella Park, including a delicious lunch at the Paronella Park tea house, historic townships and you’ll come away with amazing memories of stories and scenery from what we suggest be your last day in Cairns. (Includes: Morning tea, lunch)

Day 6: Hotel Pick up and drop off to the airport.

Pickup or Departure Point Details:
Tours include a hotel pick up and drop off except for the reef tour where you can walk (5-10 min) to the cruise terminal for check in or take a taxi if you’d prefer not to walk.
