On this 5 Night Package you will visit the three highlights of Far North Queensland on best available budget tours and it also includes five nights accommodation in Cairns' number one hostel.

The 3 tours may be taken in any order you like and don’t need to be pre booked too far in advance. You have the option to have extra nights, less nights, extra tours, less tours with this very flexible package and there is no minimum number of people required. You can also ask to have just the tour package on it’s own, or ask us to book a three, four or five star hotel instead.

Departure Dates: This package can commence any day of the year subject to availability of the accommodation.

Inclusions and highlights:

5 nights Cairns accommodation at a 5 star backpacker hostel - maximum of four people to a room or twin/ doubles are also available. All king-sized single beds and most rooms have balconies. The en-suite bathrooms can be used three ways (doors separating the shower, toilet and vanity) so there's none of the difficulties regularly experienced with too few communal facilities.

Great Barrier Reef tour (7.30am - 5pm) - stroll down to the marina for your cruise to the two outer reef locations of on the Great Barrier Reef, chosen according to the best conditions of the day. Inclusive of: Return boat transfers, morning tea and coffee, and use of snorkelling equipment, BBQ lunch, afternoon tea. Departs at 7.30am from Cairns every day and returns by 5.00pm.

Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail (9am - 4pm)- including Cairns pick up and all transport. This tour takes you on one of Australia’s most scenic, famous and historical train journeys from Cairns to Kuranda - the village in the rainforest. You’ll also experience the world’s longest gondola journey (7.5km) from Kuranda down to Cairns. Enroute in both directions you will see the famous Barron Falls and take in some amazing panoramic views from the rainforest to the sea.

Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation Tour (7am - 6pm) including an informative guide, morning tea, café style lunch at beach side cafe, visiting Port Douglas, Rainforest Habitat, rainforest board walks, Daintree rainforest and Cape Tribulation Beach and also taking in a one hour wildlife cruise on the Daintree River.

Tour Departure times:
Great Barrier Reef Tour: Check in at 7.30am for 8.30am departure.
Kuranda Tour: You must decide: 7.30am or 8.30am
Daintree Rainforest Tour: 7.00am

Return time:
Great Barrier Reef Tour: 5.00pm
Kuranda Tour: 3pm or 5pm
Daintree Rainforest Tour: 6.00pm

Pickup or Departure Point Details:
Tours include a hotel pick up and drop off except for the reef tour where you can walk to the cruise terminal in about 5 - 10 minutes.

Regarding Scuba Diving:
Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. Some of the more common conditions are Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy and heart or lung conditions. Pregnancy is also a contraindication to diving. Some other medical conditions may also be a problem. If you are unsure about any specific condition please contact us.

What is not included:
Meals and drinks unless included in the day’s itinerary or features described above.
Hotel pick up and drop off for the Reef tour. (you can walk there in 5 mins)
