This full day tour departs from Cairns, Queensland, six days a week. There are informative farm tours, local product tastings, and/or wine tastings throughout the day. On this coach tour, you are able to interact with the people who run small family businesses, and gain amazing insights into local lifestyles. Your tour takes you "off the beaten track", away from the crowds. The coach takes you to the amazing hinterland plateau known as the Cairns Highlands (Atherton Tablelands), where your tour travels through both dry tropical savannah and wet tropical rainforest.
Departure Dates: Departs four days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday Requires four people minimum to run, but you can make bookings for less than four people.

The amazing contrasts between the wet tropics and dry tropics. Central Cairns Highlands (Atherton Tablelands). Curtain Fig Tree. One of nature's awesome wonders. Rare Mabi rainforest, home to the elusive Lumholtz’s tree-kangaroo. Wet Tropics - World Heritage Rainforest with its red soils, massive tree canopy, understorey, and vine thickets. Dry tropics - Savannah country, with its granite boulders, eucalypts and huge termite mounds. Irrigated farming districts growing a huge variety of "tropical" produce", Coffee, Pineapples, Mangos, Sugar and more. The Cairns Highlands is the only place in the world where they produce sugar, tea, coffee, and dairy products in the one region. The small Tabeland towns of Mareeba, Tolga and Yungaburra.
