This package showcases the best of the reef and rainforest if you only have a short time to see it. It encompasses two of the best tours and 2 nights accommodation in a 3.5 star hotel near the city centre, that is walking distance to everything, and is clean and comfortable.

You have the option to have extra nights, less nights, extra tours, less tours with this very flexible package and there is no minimum number of people required. You can also ask to have just the tour package on it’s own, or ask us to book a four or five star hotel instead.

Departure Dates: This package can start any day of the year subject to availability of the accommodation and you can do the tours in any order you wish. It is however a good idea to book in advance. There is no minimum number of people required.

Inclusions and highlights:

2 nights accommodation at a 3.5 star Cairns city hotel called Coral Tree Inn including daily breakfast.

Great Barrier Reef Pontoon tour (10am - 5.30pm) - stroll down to the marina for your cruise to the outer edge of the reef where the floating platform/ pontoon awaits you. From there you’ll have the option to go snorkelling, or see the reef through a semi submarine coral viewing tour, or glass bottom boat, or underwater observatory or all of the above. Includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. There is also the option to try (at extra cost) a scenic helicopter ride above the reef, scuba diving or “Seawalker” to enhance your day out at the reef.

Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail Tour (9am -4pm) - including Cairns hotel pick up and all transport. This tour takes you on one of Australia’s most scenic, famous and historical train journeys from Cairns to Kuranda - the village in the rainforest. You’ll also experience the world’s longest gondola journey (7.5km) from Kuranda down to Cairns. Enroute in both directions you will see the famous Barron Falls and take in some amazing panoramic views from the rainforest to the sea.

Great Barrier Reef Tour: 10.00am
Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail Tour : 8.50am or later if you want to be picked up from the airport

Return time:
Great Barrier Reef Tour: 5.45pm
Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail Tour : 4pm or any time if you need to be dropped back to the airport.

Pickup or Departure Point Details:
Tours include a hotel pick up and drop off except for the reef tour where you can walk (5-10 min) to the cruise terminal for check in or take a taxi if you’d prefer not to walk.
