This Cape Tribulation and Daintree Rainforest Tour's point of difference is that a it includes entry to the famous Wildlife Habitat. "Wildlife Habitat" is well known for its "Breakfast with the Birds" attraction and it is inside the Wildlife Habitat enclosure that you will see countless numbers of rainforest birds, and Australian animals that are native to our region - and all in this one place!
Departure Dates: Daily, except for 25 Dec. The tour includes hotel pick ups from Cairns, Cairns Beaches or Port Douglas hotels at between 7.00am- 8.00am and returns at between 5.00pm - 6.00pm. Your hotel pick up time is advised at the time of booking. Advance bookings are recommended.

Tour itinerary and highlights:
7:30am Depart Cairns. Journey to Port Douglas via the Captain Cook Highway, one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives.
8:30am Tour Port Douglas and pick up passengers.
9:00am Visit The Wildlife Habitat. Join a guided tour through Australia’s leading environmental wildlife experience. See rare animals such as the Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo and the endangered cassowary. Have your photo taken holding a koala, snake or small crocodile (extra cost). Morning Tea included.
11:15am Cross the Daintree River on a cable-driven ferry. Travel through Daintree National Park, a magnificent wilderness region. Travel along the rainforest-fringed Cape Tribulation Road as your guide explains the area’s history.
12:00pm Enjoy a Buffet Lunch in tropical surroundings, where you’ll have time to relax.
1:15pm Explore Cape Tribulation Beach. Stroll along the beach or boardwalks with spectacular views of this iconic World Heritage Listed site.
2:30pm Join a relaxed pace Guided Rainforest Walk with great photo opportunities.
3:15pm Stop at Alexandra Lookout. Enjoy magnificent views of the Coral Sea.
3:30pm Cruise on the Daintree River. Spot crocodiles and other wildlife as your guide leads you through the mangroves.
4:30pm Afternoon Tea is served.
5:15pm Return to Port Douglas.
6:30pm Arrive at Cairns accommodation.

Child age is 3 - 14 years for this tour. A family is classed as two adults and two children. Infants under the age of three can not occuppy a seat unless they pay the child price.
