Type: Tours in Cairns - Kuranda TRAIN and SKYRAIL

This is for people who do not want to ride the Kuranda Skyrail,with hotel transfers.

The Kuranda Scenic Railway journey takes approximately one and a half hours each way.

This tour normally operates everyday of the year except for the following dates due to maintenance:

April: Thursday 28^th and Friday 29^th,May: Monday 9^th, Tuesday 10^th, Monday 23^rd and Tuesday 24^th

November: Thursday 17^th and Friday 18^th,December: Thursday 1^st and Friday 2^nd

This includes Kuranda Scenic Train to Kuranda with 3 hours spare time in Kuranda to explore and then return to Cairns on the train, included is pick up and drop off to hotel.

Pick up from hotel around 7.30am for 8.30am train and depart Kuranda on Train at 3.30pm and arrive back to hotel around 5.45pm

Booking Information

Departs daily except for 25 December. You must book a time to ride the train when you make a booking.

How to book: A 25% deposit payment is required at the time of booking. You can book online via the rates table below or call 1800 681 685 (free call) from within Australia.

A family is classed as 2 adults and 2 children aged 4 - 14 years.
Child policy: A child is classed as someone aged 4 - 14 years.
Infant policy: Children aged 0-3 years are free of charge.

Booking Policy

As these are ticket packages and not tours, no further discounts apply. A 10% booking deposit is required at the time of booking.

It takes approximately one and half hours each way on the train.

Your choice for the departure and return time – this is most important!
Please advise if you wish to start from Cairns or Freshwater Train stations.
