Cairns In One Day is a tour package designed for those visitors to the Cairns region who wish to make the most out of one free day. You CHOOSE your morning activity, be it the Kuranda scenic Train and Skyrail, Hot Air Ballooning or Horseriding. Then, up you go in a helicopter for a flight out to the reef, for a nice lunch and two hours free time to snorkel and/ or take the glass bottom boat coral viewing tour of the reef before your cruise back to Cairns.
Departure Dates: This package can commence any day of the year subject to availability. Advance bookings are highly recommended.

All taxes and levies are included in the prices in the rates table below. A 25% deposit payment is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable on the day of travel. Your ticket will be emailed to you shortly after your booking request and deposit payment has been received.
Kuranda Train and Skyrail Morning Option 1:
7:30/8:30am - Enjoy a historical scenic train journey through the Barron Gorge to the famous Kuranda Markets and village for shopping and sightseeing.
11:00am - Glide over 7.5km of pristine World Heritage rainforest suspended high above the lush tropical canopy on the famous Kuranda Skyrail.

8am hot air ballooning and then free time in Kuranda
Afternoon Activity:
12:15pm - Transfer to the General Aviation Cairns Airport. Your driver will be awaiting you at the completion of your morning activity, to transfer you to the airport. Here, the friendly staff will provide you with a safety briefing relating to the exhilarating flight that you are about to embark upon.
1.00 pm - 30-Minute Helicopter Flight out to the Great Barrier Reef. Grab a camera for this spectacular, 30-minute flight over the Great Barrier Reef, from the interior of the air-conditioned helicopter with live video-recording system. Aerial views are the only way to really appreciate the tremendous scope and awe of this amazing eco-system!
1.30pm - Once at Hastings Reef, transfer over to the Osprey V, a sleek, high speed dive vessel where lunch awaits you. Spend the afternoon snorkelling, diving or take an informative glass bottom boat tour.
3.30pm - Cruise Back to Cairns
Sit back and enjoy the live entertainment and complimentary wine as you cruise back to Cairns aboard the Osprey V cruising at around 25 knots.
5.00pm - Arrive Back in Cairns
End the perfect day in Tropical North Queensland with a drink or a meal in Cairns cosmopolitan town centre or let your driver take you back to your accommodation.

Pickup or Departure Point Details:
Tours include a hotel pick up and drop off except from the Cairns beaches where transfers are an additional $25 per person and Port Douglas where transfers are an additional $53 per person.

Scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef: $65 per person

The approximate body weight for each passenger. Passenger weight restrictions apply for the helicopter tour. Any passenger over 110kg will incur a $90 surcharge because there will be less seats sold on that tour.
