DAY 1. - CAIRNS TO HANN RIVER

Complimentary pick up at Cairns Hotel. Travelling up along the Coral Sea. We then make a turn to head north up the James Mulligan Highway visiting the Palmer River Roadhouse. A stretch of the legs and time to have a look at the small Museum which has amazing history of the Gold Fields during the 1872. This will be our first stop to have some lunch.
After Lunch we Journey through the Outback to Hann River Campground.

DAY 2. - HANN RIVER TO ARCHER RIVER
 
Today we follow parts of the original Telegraph Track. Here there is a memorial to "Toots". A famous Lady Trucking Character.

DAY 3. ARCHER RIVER - MORETON TELEGRAPH STATION
.
Today we drive and cross the wide sandy Archer and Wenlock Rivers. We cross traverse open woodland country, pass huge termite mounds, and make camp in afternoon at Morton Telegraph Station. After dinner tonight your Tour Guide will take you on a Spotlight Tour to see if you can catch a Look at the rare Cucus Possum.

DAY 4. MORTON STATION TO SEISA
 
Another exciting day of creek crossings leads us to the Jardine River, which is renowned for its crocodiles - we cross it by FERRY! also to day we will have some time to have a Swim at Bat Falls on the way. Tonight we camp at the Torres Strait Islands community of Seisa.

DAY 5. SEISA TO TIP
 
Today we visit the Famous Croc Tent and walk to the TIP. We will Travel through the drier savannah woodlands which will change into dense Rainforest before opening up at the deserted beaches at Australian's most northern point. After taking in the spectacular views of the Torres Straits and the surrounding beaches. We will have lunch at Somerset Beach. This was the home and now resting place of Frank Jardine. Visit these historic graves on the Beach.

DAY 6. SEISA TO ISLANDS TOUR - THURSDAY & HORN ISLAND
 
We begin today by travelling to Thursday Island and Horn Island. Both islands Tours have information and history of the past and the important part the island played in the war and keeping Australia safe. History od the early Pearling Luggers and the part they played while admiring the spectacular and breathtaking views of the Torres Straits with its turquoise waters.

DAY 7. SEIA - BRAMWELL STATION ( SWIM AND LUNCH AT ELLIOT FALLS ON THE WAY)
 
This morning we heard to Twin Falls on the Magnificent Elliot River for a wonderful swim in the Crystal Waters. Also marvel in the fact that the water you swim in originates from Papua New Guinea.
Also today we enjoy some 4WD action, road conditions and weather permitting, arriving at Bramwell Station - Australia's most northern cattle station,

DAY 8. BRAMWELL STATION TO WEIPA (MINE TOUR AT OWN COST )

We depart early, eventually onto better roads, arriving about lunchtime in Weipa. This afternoon there is an optional Tour of Bauxite mine which put Weipa on the Map. ( Tour at is own expense. )

DAY 9. WEIPA TO COOKS HUT - IRON RANGE
 
This morning we move East . through cattle country. We travel through the largest area of tropical lowland rainforest remaining the largest area of tropical lowland rainforest reaming in Australia. Crossing rivers before entering Iron Range National Park via Tozers Gap. This place is truly wonderful with rare fauna and flora, looking for the famous Palm Cockatoos, Eclectus Parrots and green Pythons.

DAY 10. COOKS HUT TO CHUULANGUN - PORTLAND ROADS - CHILLIE BEACH
BATAVIA GOLDFIELDS
 
Today your Guide will take you on a day of Adventures where you will travel to chilli beach which is truly just stunning with its wonderful ocean and Landscapes, We also visit significant historical Sites in the area of the gold times of the 1930's and the Airfield at Iron Range. on about 18th April 1942 Walter Maierersperger, the Commanding Officer of 33 Bomb Squadron of the 22nd Bomb Group USAAC carried out an aerial reconnaissance flight over the iron Range Area.
Lunch to day will be at the famous Portland Roads Locals Café overlooking the sea with wonderful home cooked food including fresh fish.
Then after Lunch we move back towards the Batavia Goldfields and the Chuulangun homelands. This is home to the Traditional custodians, the clan group of the Kuki"Yu northern Karrju, who belong to the highlands .Our homelands are centre of the Wenlock and Pascoe River and encompass some 840,000 hectares. Chuulangun homeland operate a serviced campground for visitors to their Land and area.

DAY 11. CHUULANGUN COEN
 
Today we Travel to Coen this where you can visit the Coen Historical Museum. Tonight we will camp on the Banks of the River very peaceful Place.

DAY 12. COEN TO KALPOWER - BUSH CAMP


Today we Travel through Lakefield National Park on the same tracks as the mounted mail men did. This National Park is filled with Billabongs and River Systems alive with wildlife.

DAY 13. KALPOER TO COOKTOWN
 
Leaving Kalpower we visit old Laura Homestead then Travel down the Infamous Battle Camp Road. Here you will marvel at this wildness and the views of the Laura escarpments, sighting signs of the old railway line that travelled from Cooktown to the Palmer River Goldfields. We then Travel onto the area of Hope Vale then on to Cooktown.

DAY 14. COOKTOWN - BLOOMFIELD TRACK - LYONS DEN PUB - SPECIAL DINNER - BLOOMFIELD FALLS
 
Your morning today is spent in historical Cooktown which became a thriving Port during the Gold Rush era. Cooktown was originally discovered by Captain James Cook who sailed into the Endeavour River in 1770 to repair the HMS Endeavour, after hitting a reef off Cape Tribulation. The must to do list in Cooktown; James Cook Museum. Cooktown was founded in 1873 as a port for the Palmer River Goldfields and has a rich history of European settlement, Aboriginal Culture. We travel in the afternoon via Black Mountain and the famous Bloomfield track ( weather and Roads permitting )
We visit the old historical lion's Den Hotel which icon author Lon Llewellyn Idriess mentioned in his early days of the mining.
Travelling through untouched rainforest and following Bloomfield River. Then on to the Bloomfield Falls which just outstanding at Wujal Wujal.
We will be camping in a wonderful camp site, just off the famous Track under palm trees. Tonight you will have a special delicious home-cooked meal around the outdoor fire place - a break from the on road cooking. This is where the owners will share their tales and History of the Bloomfield Track area. This is a very Special Night.

DAY. 15. BLOOMFIELD TRACK - DAINTREE CROC CRUISE - MOSSMAN GORGE ABORIGONAL GUIDE PRIVATE TOUR - CAIRNS (Croc Cruise & Ice Cream at own Cost )

We get up early to drive our way through to the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest. We then Cross the Bloomfield River and start to climb our way through the Daintree Ranges. Our next Stop will be in the Daintree Coopers River for your Croc Cruise; You will be the only boat in the area that does this wonderful Cruise no other Boats on this part of the River. Stunning views of the Mountains in the back ground coming right down to the Mangroves.
After your Boat cruise we stop at a wonderful place in middle of the Rainforest for lunch where all the Local's eat. Following Lunch we make our way to the Daintree Ice Creamery (ice Cream at own cost) This is home to famous, exotic, tropical fruit ice-cream with many flavours from the fruits that are grown on the farm.
Finally we Travel across the Daintree River via the cable Ferry, arriving at Mossman Gorge for your Aboriginal Tour. Where you will be taken on a Journey of Culture with a Kulu Yalanji local indigenous elder. The walk takes you past traditional bark shelters. The walk takes you along private gentle tracks visiting special places. We continue over meandering, cool rainforest streams and your Guide will demonstrate plant use with food sources found with this unique tropical environment. At the end of the Tour we then move back towards Cairns heading South along the Coral Sea. Where you will be taken back to your Hotel at the end of your Cape York Tour.

How to book: This trip should be booked as far in advance as is possible. We require a deposit of $750 per person when making a booking. The balance must be paid in full eight weeks prior to departure. Bookings made within seven weeks of the travel date must be paid in full within 72 hours. Please note, if you are the first to book, your tour is not guaranteed until at least three people are booked. In previous years, each tour has run, but we can not guarantee the same will happen every year.

Booking Policy

DEPOSIT / PAYMENT: We require a deposit of $750 per person to confirm the booking. The balance must be paid in full eight weeks prior to departure. Bookings made within eight weeks of the travel date must be paid in full within 72 hours.

CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS: If cancellation occurs more than seven weeks prior to departure a cancellation fee of $150 per person will be deducted from your refund. Cancellations occurring less than one month prior to departure will incur the following charges: 15-31 days prior 80% of Total, 14 Days or less 100% of Total Price.

INSURANCE: Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover against the possibility of a substantial financial loss. An emergency medical evacuation might cost you as much as $3000. Last minute cancellations can mean loss of the cost of the tour. This makes it extremely important to obtain travel insurance as soon as you book - or even before.
