Flames of the Forest transports you into a world beyond your imagination so relaxing and uplifting for your soul you will never want to leave. A completely intimate natural experience without compromising on comfort or safety.

Choose from two different evenings to suit your tastes and your budget.

Tuesday and Thursday feature two local indigenous brothers sharing some of their remarkable culture with you during the evening, in a setting where they adventured as children. Complemented by a six course plattered banquet served to the table and accompanied by Australian wines and beer, this evening will transport you to a world away from the everyday.

Saturday night focuses on an intimate rainforest dining experience featuring the freshest and best of our local produce accompanied by Australian wine and beer. Featuring a three course plated menu served to intimate tables of two through to larger groups, Saturday nights are a must for those celebrating a special occasion who are looking for something a little out of the ordinary.

Availability and location: Ten minutes from Port Douglas, 50 minutes from Cairns and a world away from the everyday. Flames of the Forest closes for the wet season on 31st January and reopens 10th March.

How to book: You can book online via the rates table's "Book Now" button, or, call to book on  1800 681 685 (free call) from within Australia to book. A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable three days before the day of travel. Your ticket will be emailed to you shortly after we receive your booking request and deposit payment.

Booking Information

How to Book: You can book online via the rates table's "Book Bow" button, or, call to book on 1800 681 685 (free call) from within Australia. A 25% deposit payment is required at the time of booking but the final balance is payable no later than 3 days prior to the evening. Your ticket will be emailed to you shortly after your booking request and deposit payment has been received.

Bookings essential. Bookings close at 2.00pm on the day of the event. Vegetarian and special diets catered for on request. The venue is under cover. Please note that this dinner is not recommended for children under six years of age. 100% cancellation fee if cancelled within 24 hours. We reserve the right to cancel any night at our discretion and provide guests with a full refund.

Departure point is from your accommodation. Pick up times are confirmed upon booking.

In case of circumstances beyond our control, or in the interests of guests' safety or comfort, we reserve the right to change the evening's format or content without notice and to replace advertised content with available alternatives without refund.

On Tuesday and Thursday nights, tables of ten are set so guests join other travellers over dinner. Tables of other numbers can only be booked on a Saturday night.
