The Micro Light facilities are located one hour 20 minutes drive from Cairns and about 15 minutes from Port Douglas. Here for nine months of the year, the skies are blue and the temperature is from 18° – 28°. This Utopia includes the Great Barrier Reef, gardens of tropical palms and pristine rainforest, crystal mountain streams and golden beaches.

Sunset Flights 4:30pm, 5:30pm. Other times can be arranged on enquiry.
How to Book: A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable on the day of travel. You can book online via the rates table below or call 1800 681 685 If the tour can not run due to weather, you will be offered a full refund or offered another time to reschedule to. Transfers from Port Douglas can be arranged for $20 per person or for $30 per person return from Cairns.

The ecology in this tropical paradise is very much intact and whilst flying you may see crocodiles, dugongs, turtles, sharks, dolphins or giant rays. You can choose from one of the three following tours:
Tandem Microlight: Fly Port Douglas. Feel the thrill of open cockpit aviation and the pure sensation of freedom. An iconic tropical town of Far North Queensland, Port Douglas was founded in 1877 by tough men and women of pioneering spirit. By 1880, it was a thriving township, exporting gold, tin and later, sugar. 18 established hotels are an indication of the area’s prosperity.
Tandem Micro Light: Fly the Daintree. World renown and heritage listed, the Daintree National Park area is at the forefront of environmental and biological diversity. “A Vision of Serenity” for those who choose to aviate this tropical extravagance. Fly along the coastal beaches to the Delta of the Daintree River. Visually Spectacular. Then track north-east out into the Coral Sea to circumnavigate Snapper Island, returning back to the mainland and Ship Wreck Bay.
Tandem Micro Light: Fly Cape Tribulation. Marvel the wonders of Cape Tribulation. The rugged coastal mountains draped in rainforest amongst crystal rivers and golden beaches, offers magnificent scenery seen only by those with adventure in their hearts.
