Experience more of the rainforest by staying a night or two in the Daintree National Park with an overnight or extended stay in Cape Tribulation at Ferntree Rainforest Lodge. Choose whether to add a meal package, a reef trip, beach horse ride, jungle surfing tour or other optional activity to enhance your self-designed package.

Departure Dates: Departs every day of the year except Christmas day with pick ups from Cairns, Cairns beaches and Port Douglas hotels included.

Departure Times: Pick up from Cairns hotels at around 7.15am, Beaches hotels at around 7.45am and Port Douglas hotels at 8.15am. Returns to Port Douglas the nextday at 5.30pm, Beaches hotels at 6.00pm and Cairns hotels at 6.30pm.

How to book: You can book online via the rates table's "Add to itinerary" button. Just click on it and follow the prompts. A deposit payment of approximately 25% is required at the time of booking. (You will be advised the exact deposit required at the time of booking) The balance is payable on day one of the tour to your driver by cash or credit card. Your ticket will be emailed to you shortly after we receive your booking request and deposit payment during business hours which are 8am - 6pm, seven days a week.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1 - Pick up from your accommodation in Cairns or Port Douglas. Enjoy a light morning tea and take a tour of the Daintree River, spotting for wildlife and crocodiles. Beyond the Daintree River there's a rainforest boardwalk and a walk on Cape Tribulation beach. Drop off at the Ferntree Rainforest lodge by around 1.30pm and then the rest of your day is free to do as you please, for your night in the rainforest.

Day of return - Free time to partake in your choice of activity until about 12.30pm. Pick up from Ferntree Lodge at around 1.00pm, and then return to Cairns or Port Douglas via and Mossman Gorge.

You can join a Daintree jungle surfing tour, a beach horse riding tour, a Half Day Sea Kayak Tour, a half day reef trip, a night time wildlife spotting tour and more.
