Why not spend a night at the Great Barrier Reef, not just the day! On this overnight tour, you'll sleep on board a well appointed vessell with cabins that each have ensuite and your trip includes all meals, linen and snorkelling gear.Certified divers can dive up to 7 times and a certified open water diver can also upgrade their lices to "Advanced" Open water if they so desire.

A key point of difference for people considering this tour is the introductory diving package. People who don't have a scuba diving license but are fit and healthy without medical conditions, can scuba dive with a fully qualified diving instructor, up to five times on the one trip, at a specially discounted package price. (see below).

Departure Dates: Daily, pick from Cairns city accommodation around 07:45am. Advance bookings are highly reccommended.

More Information:

If you have never dived before and don't want to do a full course you can now book a 'Discover SCUBA Diving Package' which is a 2 Day/1Night liveaboard trip including 5 Introductory Dives. All that is required is the ability to swim and comprehend English, and you will also be required to fill out a medical questionnaire.

If you are already a certified diver, you can dive for fun, or you can also upgrade your PADI dive certification whilst you are out there from open water qualified to Advance Open Water qualified.

On this tour, there are two days and one night to enjoy snorkelling or scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef! All rooms on board your floating hotel have air-conditioning, as well as TV’s. There is a large lounge area on the wheelhouse deck with a bar where you can relax and kick back after a long days diving or snorkelling. The main deck has a large dining room capable of comfortably seating 48 passengers.

DAY ONE - 4 certified dives or 3 introductory dives and/or snorkelling

7.45am pick up from your Cairns city accommodation
9.00am Board our fast modern transfer boat for 90 minute transfer to Outer Barrier Reef * Equipment selection
2 scuba dives or snorkelling from the transfer boat and lunch before transferring to your floating hotel and reef snorkel and scuba vessel for the next two nights.
2.30pm transfer to the liveaboard boat for the next two nights
Afternoon dive or snorkelling and night dive (for certified divers only) + Lunch, dinner and accommodation included.

DAY TWO - 3 certified dives or 2 introductory dives and/or snorkelling

Breakfast, and lunch are included
2 introductory dives or 3 certified scuba dives and/or snorkelling before 2.30pm.
3.00pm Depart Outer Barrier Reef bound for Cairns on the transfer boat that brought you out to the reef on day 1
Return to your Cairns city accommodation approx. 5pm

Regarding Scuba Diving:
Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. Some of the more common conditions are Asthma, Diabetes, Pregnancy, Epilepsy and heart or lung conditions. Some other medical conditions may also be a problem. If you are unsure about any specific condition please contact us.

Booking Policy

If you cancel or amend the travel date with 48 hours or less before the scheduled trip date, it could result in a 100% cancellation fee. A 20% cancellation fee applies at other times. Travel inurance is recommended if you are concerned about needing to cancel last minute.
