This two tour package is designed for the young and young at heart who are travelling on a limited budget. The tours are both full day tours, departing from and returning back to Cairns each day. The order in which you do the tours doesn't matter, as these tours run every day of the week. You should aim to book in advance though, particular during high season which is from July to October.

Departure Dates: Daily except for Christmas day. Both tours start at around 7.30am and return to Cairns each day at around 5.30pm. No minimum numbers are required.

How to book: You can book online via the rates table's "Book Now" button, or, call to book on 1800 681 685 from within Australia. Government reef tax, fuel levy & port charges of $20 per person per trip are included in the prices in the rates table below. A 25% deposit payment is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable on the day of travel. Your ticket will be emailed to you shortly after your booking request and deposit payment has been received.

Tour Itinerary:

One of our most popular packages, with one full day on each tour this package gives you the time you need to fully appreciate these amazing World Heritage Listed Sites. From the diversity of the Outer Great Barrier Reef to the beautiful pristine Daintree Rainforest and white sandy beaches of Cape Tribulation. You'll gaze in wonder at the amazing wildlife and ecology that makes Far North Queensland one of the Worlds most popular holiday destinations.

Great Barrier Reef Tour: (8.30am - 5.15pm)

8.30am: Depart from Cairns to the first of two outer reef locations. On the way to the reef you'll here a reef talk and snorkelling demonstration, and a morning tea will also be served.

10.00am: Arrive at your first destination. Free time to either snorkel (included) or take a scuba dive (at additional cost).

12.30pm Boat moves to the next location and lunch is served.

1.00pm At the second site you have there is more free time for snorkelling and it is here that you can take the semi submersible (at extra charge) or take a scenic helicopter ride or extra scuba dive (at additional cost).

3.30pm Time to head back to Cairns, the boat ride will bring you back to Cairns at between 5pm - 5.15pm.

A family is classed as 2 adults and 2 children (aged 4 - 12 years).

Regarding Scuba Diving:
Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. Some of the more common conditions are Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy and heart or lung conditions. Pregnancy is also a contraindication to diving. Some other medical conditions may also be a problem. If you are unsure about any specific condition please contact us.

10 minute Helicopter Scenic Flights: $145

Transfer Details

Transfers are inclusive for the rainforest tour and most Cairns hotels are walking distance to the Cairns marina so no bus transfers are required.

If bus transfers are required they are payable by cash direct to the bus driver on the day of travel.
Rates for Return Hotel Shuttle bus transfers are as follows:
$14 return for Cairns Accommodation and $22 return for Northern Beaches
