Southern Cross was Australia's 4th challenger for the America's Cup and the 1st aluminium 12 metre America's Cup Race Yacht in the world. Southern Cross beat the competing nations to win the right to challenge for the cup against the Americans.

If you are after an exciting sailing experience with a smaller group, then Southern Cross is perfect.

Southern Cross has single berths and three double berths. All double berths have curtains for privacy. Southern Cross provides 3 day 2 night sailing adventures in the Whitsundays. Each trip takes up to 14 guests on the adventure of a lifetime. Guests are welcome to assist sail Southern Cross, including hoisting and trimming sails, or taking the helm to steer her around the islands.

Southern Cross being the smaller vessel in our fleet is ideal for private group charters of 6 to 14 guests.

DEPARTS: 09:30am Fridays and 09:30am Tuesdays.

DEPARTS FROM: All departures are from Abel Point Marina Airlie Beach.

RETURNS: Between 16:00pm - 16:30pm on Sunday or Thursday.

What do I need to bring?
Local Fees: $60.00
Swimmers and beach towel, hat (preferably with tie cord), jacket or jumper, sunscreen, runners, sunglasses, camera, cash for drinks, souvenirs, favourite music CD's.

Cancellation Policy
Between booking and 14 days prior to departure - deposit (20% of booking total).
Between 14 days and 72hrs prior to departure - 50% of fare.
Within 72hrs prior to departure - 100% of fare.
