This is one of the best day boat reef fishing tours in Port Douglas. This reef fishing boat is an 18m (60ft) purpose-designed and custom-made vessel and is the premier fishing boat for shared charters leaving from the Port Douglas. It is powered by two Detroit Diesel series 60, 6 cylinder turbo engines and is capable of speeds up to 28 knots. It can comfortably accommodate up to 20 passengers on shared daily charters. Furthermore it can cater for up to 45 passengers for snorkelling, fishing, film or corporate groups on privately booked charters.

Departure Dates: Daily from Port Douglas at 8.30am, or free pick up from Port Douglas hotels. Pick up from Cairns, and Cairns Beaches hotels available at an extra cost.

The vessel features air-conditioned cabins, expansive rear deck including a duckboard/sport fishing platform, upper deck seating including sun lounges, shower and toilet facilities, walk-on boarding is provided and state-of-the-art navigation, 3D bottom imaging, radar and sounder equipment is fitted. They have a photographer aboard who is there to capture every moment allowing passengers the opportunity to relive their experiences forever. Personalised prints are available for purchase as are CDs, CD slideshows and DVDs, which include video footage as well as still images. Drinks, including soft drinks, bottled water, beer, wine and sparkling wine are available for purchase on board the vessel. BYO is by prior arrangement only. They provide passengers with the option of either rods or hand lines, all bait and tackle is included as well as a smorgasbord lunch and morning and afternoon tea.

Fish caught can include spanish mackerel, red emperor, coral trout and sea perch and trevally to name just a few. Your catch is cleaned and chilled and they can provide airline approved freezer-safe packaging for those wishing to take their catch home.
