Come and visit Fantasea's exclusive Reefworld for two fun filled days. Experience the unique peace and tranquility of a night on the Reef. With time to explore once the day-trippers have departed, you have the reef all to yourself - apart from a few million fish!

DAY ONE

Depart Airlie Beach or your Island Resort early morning, to head on an unforgettable two day, one night adventure to the Great Barrier Reef.

Reefsleep is an extension of our popular Great Barrier Reef Adventure Day Cruise. Guests on the Reefsleep experience travel to our Reefworld pontoon onboard our high-speed reef vessel with day cruise guests.

Arrival at the pontoon is around 11am. By day, you'll enjoy all the wonderful activities on offer with a Great Barrier Reef Adventure, including snorkelling, swimming, semi-sub rides, viewing fish from the underwater observatory, sunbathing on deck, and taking the fast route into the sea from the waterslide! Of course, diving (for beginners and certified divers), massage and heli flights are also on offer (at an additional cost).

EVENING

Come 3pm, the vessel departs the pontoon, meaning this magnificent part of the world is just for you, fellow Reefsleep guests (maximum 12), and our crew to enjoy.

Soak up the unique solitude and tranquility of the Great Barrier Reef and watch as the underwater world comes to life as the sun starts to sink lower on the horizon.

Have your camera ready while you enjoy the sunset on the upper deck. The evening meal is a superb gourmet barbecue, served with other guests.

A NIGHT UNDER THE STARS

Being so far from shore and any man-made lights, the stars will amaze you. Study the stars through our telescope or just lie back on our 'starloungers' (sunloungers by day) and soak it all up!

You can choose to sleep under the stars in a 'swag' or alternatively, retire to a double bedroom (see accommodation details below).

DAY TWO

Start the day with a hearty breakfast. You'll have the place to yourselves until 11am when the Great Barrier Reef Adventure day cruise guests arrive. Then, all the activities of the previous day are back on the itinerary, so dive right back in and explore!

ACCOMMODATION

Reefsleep features two types of accommodation: Under the Stars Swags or a Double Room.

UNDER THE STARS SWAGS

A swag is a cosy, low tent with a clear viewing panel above your head, a comfortable mattress and snug bedding. Our swags are available as king singles (for just one person) or doubles (for two people sharing).

The experience of sleeping in a swag out on the Great Barrier Reef is just unbeatable! Being so far from land, there are no biting insects, so you can even sleep with the cover open - just you, the sea air and the stars!

DOUBLE ROOM

The Double Room at Reefworld is air-conditioned with an adjoining bathroom. Ideal for couples! We have one double room available.

DEPARTS: Shute Harbour 08:00am and returns 17:40pm the following day. Hamilton Island 09.00am and returns 16:40pm following day.

Booking Information

DEPARTS: Shute Harbour 08:00am and returns 17:40pm the following day. Hamilton Island 09.00am and returns 16:40pm following day. Club Med Lindeman Island at 07:15am and returns17:15pm the following day.

Scuba Dives - Subject to Dive Medical. All intending introductory divers over the age of 55 years of age must produce a current Diving Medical Certificate. All divers are subject to a medical questionnaire on board the vessel before diving and their fitness to dive will be assessed by a diving instructor.

Alfresco dining, weather permitting.

A minimum booking of two people 'most often' applies.

Booking Policy

Payment in full is required at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made from time of booking will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 48hrs may incur a higher cancellation charge due to overnight booking.
