Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome to Uluṟu (Ayers Rock) – Kata Tjuṯa (the Olgas) – Uluṟu Sunset

On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be transferred to the resort (flights to arrive prior to 1.00pm). This afternoon travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and take a walk at Walpa Gorge. Spend time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. Later, travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area to witness the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying complimentary wine and nibbles.

Hotel: Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget), Outback Pioneer Hotel(Standard), Desert Gardens Hotel (Superior) or Sails in the Desert Hotel (First Class), Ayers Rock Resort.

After sunset, join us under the stars at our exclusive venue. Day 2: Uluṟu Sunrise & Sacred Sites – Farewell from Uluṟu (Ayers Rock)

Watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre alight. Make your way to the viewing platform for an ideal photo opportunity. After sunrise join your guide for a drive around the base of Uluru on to the Kuniya Walk where you will be escorted to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. This waterhole was a key source of water for the Aboriginal people in the area and had been in use for many thousands of years. See Aboriginal rock art and hear about the Aboriginal and European history of the area. Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. It houses an amazing collection of original ceramics, paintings and punu (woodwork) that provide an insight into the unique and spiritual culture of the Anangu people, the traditional custodians of Uluru.

This afternoon you will be transferred to Ayers Rock Airport (flights to depart after 12.30pm).

What to bring
Sturdy walking shoes (preferably ankle high), hat and sunscreen, towel and toiletries, swimming gear, warm clothing, water bottle, torch, insect repellant, fly net to cover your head if you are bothered by flies (outback tours particularly), camera, money for optional snacks you might want to buy and/or meals not included on the specific tour you might be doing.

How much luggage can I bring?

One medium size suitcase per person, the sum of its length/width and depth not to exceed 140cm (56") plus an overnight bag (airline bag size) which may be carried on-board the coach. Maximum weight of all luggage not to exceed 20Kg (44lbs). We are required by strict Government vehicle weight regulations to enforce and adhere to this limit.

Booking Policy

Child age is 2 - 15 years.

Cancellation Policy
Greater than 42 Days prior = A $200 per person cancellation fee.
42 -7days prior = 20% + $200 per person cancellation fee.
6 - 1 days prior = 50% + $200 per person cancellation fee.
Day of Departure = 100% cancellation fees.

You have to reconfirm your tour at least 48 hours prior to the departure date.
