Itinerary:

Day 1: Alice Springs – Uluṟu (Ayers Rock)

Travel through the West MacDonnell and James Ranges. Stop at a camel farm where there's time for a camel ride (own expense) and later stop to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner), before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. The afternoon is spent touring Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), including time to walk into Walpa Gorge, before travelling to the Uluru sunset viewing area to watch sunset and the changing colours of Uluru while enjoying nibbles and complimentary wine.

Hotel: Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget), Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert Gardens Hotel (Superior) or Sails in the Desert Hotel (First Class), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights.

Day 2: Uluṟu Sunrise & Base Tour - Sounds of Silence Dinner

Rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre and Uluru alight. After sunrise join your Guide for a drive around the base of Uluru. Travel by coach to the Mutitjulu Walk where you will be escorted to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole. View Aboriginal rock art and learn about the area as your Driver Guide indicates native flora and fauna and explains the history of Uluru. Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to see locally-made arts and crafts. In the evening dine under a million stars at the award-winning Sounds of Silence Dinner. Enjoy a gourmet buffet of Australian delicacies accompanied by fine Australian wines, then sit back and relax as a startalker takes you on a tour of the southern night skies (conditions permitting).

Day 3: Uluṟu (Ayers Rock)

Your Short Break concludes this morning at Ayers Rock Resort. You will be transferred to Ayers Rock Airport to connect with your onward flight (flights anytime, airfare not included).

What to bring
Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park Fee: A national park fee of AUD$25.00 is payable on day of travel but is INCLUDED in the rates table above.
Sturdy walking shoes (preferably ankle high), hat and sunscreen, towel and toiletries, swimming gear, warm clothing, water bottle, torch, insect repellant, fly net to cover your head if you are bothered by flies (outback tours particularly), camera, money for optional snacks you might want to buy and/or meals not included on the specific tour you might be doing.

How much luggage can I bring?

One medium size suitcase per person, the sum of its length/width and depth not to exceed 140cm (56") plus an overnight bag (airline bag size) which may be carried on-board the coach. Maximum weight of all luggage not to exceed 20Kg (44lbs). We are required by strict Government vehicle weight regulations to enforce and adhere to this limit.

42 -7days 20% + $200,
6 - 1 days 50% + $200,
Day of Departure 100% cancellation fees.
