Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome to Uluṟu (Ayers Rock) – Uluṟu Barbecue Dinner

On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be transferred to the resort (flights to arrive prior to 3.00pm). Enjoy sunset at Uluṟu with complimentary wine. Continue to our exclusive venue for an Australian barbecue dinner, including steak, lamb sausages, chicken skewers, garlic prawns, salads and wine.

Hotel: Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget), Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert Gardens Hotel (Superior) or Sails in the Desert Hotel (First Class), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights.

Day 2: Uluṟu Sunrise & Sacred Sites – Kata Tjuṯa (the Olgas) Sunset

Enjoy an Uluru sunrise, then drive around the base of Uluru with your Driver Guide. On the Kuniya Walk view Aboriginal rock art, learn about the Anangu people and see the Mutitjulu Waterhole. Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to see locally-made arts and crafts. Later join your guide for a 2-3 hour walk through Kata Tjuṯa to the Valley of the Winds (shorter walk available). Afterwards, take in an outback sunset over Kata Tjuta.

Upgrade to The Rising Sun & Sacred Walk for AUD$66. Experience the sacred beauty and culture of Uluṟu led by a member of the local Aṉangu people. View the majestic sunrise at Uluṟu then enjoy breakfast. Immerse yourself in Aṉangu culture as you gather around a campfire and learn about ancient bush skills. Then join your guide for an interpretive walk at the base of Uluṟu.
Day 3: Uluṟu (Ayers Rock) – Kings Canyon

There's time to relax this morning. In the afternoon travel to Kings Canyon.

Day 4: Kings Canyon – Farewell from Alice Springs

Climb to the rim of Kings Canyon, with stunning views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness). Or you may wish to explore the canyon creek bed, an easier shady walk. This afternoon travel on to Alice Springs.

What to bring
Sturdy walking shoes (preferably ankle high), hat and sunscreen, towel and toiletries, swimming gear, warm clothing, water bottle, torch, insect repellant, fly net to cover your head if you are bothered by flies (outback tours particularly), camera, money for optional snacks you might want to buy and/or meals not included on the specific tour you might be doing.

How much luggage can I bring?

One medium size suitcase per person, the sum of its length/width and depth not to exceed 140cm (56") plus an overnight bag (airline bag size) which may be carried on-board the coach. Maximum weight of all luggage not to exceed 20Kg (44lbs). We are required by strict Government vehicle weight regulations to enforce and adhere to this limit.
