Join this half day afternoon Cairns rafting tour for a few hours of fun and excitement you won't forget. Great for people who are short on time, you will experience the beautiful surrounds of the Barron River and gorge as you raft down grade 2-3 white water rapids .
Departure Dates: This tour departs everyday at 2pm from Cairns and beaches hotels or 1pm from Port Douglas hotels.
How to book: You can book online via the rates table's "Book Now" button, or, call to book on 1800 681 685 (free call) from within Australia to book. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on the day of travel. Your ticket will be emailed to you shortly after we receive your booking request and deposit payment. The prices in the rates table include all the rafting levies.
Tour Information: Your white water raft contains 6 people plus a local Cairns white water rafting river guide; many of your fellow white water river rafters are first timers so no experience is necessary. You will get a bit wet, but this is great fun! This is a dam controlled river, allowing consistent supplies of water all year round so this Cairns white water rafting tour operates daily. A professional photographer accompanies each tour, providing top quality rafting photographs for purchase. The minimum age to do this tour is 13 years.
If you have children aged 6-12 years, you are welcome to try FAMILY RAFTING, which uses the lower grade 1-2 rapids. 8 person rafts & 2 person sports rafts are used. This offers the opportunity to experience both styles of rafting during your trip. Sports rafts are two per rafts with an adult and child in each raft. Children 10 years old and above can be in a raft without an adult. A high guide to passenger ratio ensures safety is first class with an emphasis on having a fun day.

Pickup or Departure Point Details: Pick up and return to your accommodation in Cairns, Beaches, & Port Douglas. Port Douglas return transfers are $28 extra compared to the Cairns & Beaches prices.
Optional Extras:
River shoe hire $5 a pair - to keep your own shoes dry.

Booking Policy
The minimum age for the standard tour is 13 years. Children from 6 - 12 years are welcome to try FAMILY RAFTING with their parents, which is on the lower part of the same river but is a lot safer for young children. Please note that cancellation will result in a 25% cancellation fee and cancellations less than 24 hours prior to the travel date will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
